RULES AND REGULATION
Any violation of rule will result a possibility of disqualification.
1. Each team will have to design and assemble their own drone creatively. Electronics, propellers and material for drone building will be provided.
2. Decorative materials are limited to only as such listed: marker pens and acrylic paint only.
3. Teams can fabricate their frames using the materials provided for example 3D Printers and printing material or sticks/ice-cream sticks.
4. Teams can choose to use any pre-installed 3D drawing software for drone design on their personal laptop.
5. Each team will have a technical helper, also known as Team Supervisor, for providing necessary assistance throughout the competition.
6. Participants must attend a pre-event drone workshop at KLESF (2-4 November, three weeks prior to the competition) for better performance during the competition.
7. Teams must have a minimum of 3 and maximum of 5 participants in each team. While also considered as participants, there can be at max one supporting lecturer to assist the team.
8. All Drone has a dimensional requirement of larger than 9cm by 9cm and a maximal dimension of 12cm by 12cm. There are no limitations on the height.
9. All drone flight without approval from Head of Supervisor is strictly prohibited.
10. Judges and organizing committees have the right to overwrite the rules and regulation under certain circumstances. Decisions made are final and non-negotiable.
